I got together with my friend Jamie Rubeis to do this session. It was a fun, creative shoot...I really needed it as I was getting really burned out of doing the same old same old over and over again. It was SO cold, but the frozen toes were worth it...got some new favorite pictures. :) This is my oldest daughter and also my muse. She's also pretty darn tough to endure the 20 degree temps in a short sleeved dress. hehe

These were all shot with the 5Dii and 85L. My fingers were way too frozen to bother with any lens swapping. All were naturally lit with the exception of the lantern shot.

Anyways, a few favorites...

These are really lovely. You're daughter is quite the trooper I'd say. She must be having a good time as your muse.

You have to be proud of her, as I'm sure she is of these photos.

On one hand, those lips are fascinating
On the other, they are overboard.
I can't decide.

Wow. Amazing shots. Props to you as the photog, and your daughter as the tropper in the cold weather.

I think they work very well with this series. I think the vibrant red contrasts nicely with the snowy background/white headdress.
