I wasn't very familiar with his work until someone mentioned it a few months back,after looking at these images.
I went to his website and I have to say we have VERY different styles.
I love journalism. Most of my work is very journalistic. Natural light, no flash and I try not to pose my subject unless it's necessary. I just photograph them as they are. His work is completely opposite. Heavy use of flash and staging. Lots of photoshop, combining images/adding/removing of objects,etc.
IMHO it ruins the real picture and depicts something that was never there in the first place. He is a very good photographer, we just don't have the same vision
:)

Mostly it was 70-200 IS II 2.8L

A few close ups were taken with 24L.

Those the the only lenses I own, apart from Sigma 50-500 which is for wildlife only and stays home all the time...
