Anyone going to the hot air balloon festival this weekend?

I didn't go to the hot air balloon festival, but I did stop by the Holiday Balloon Glow Festival at San Tan Village.

OK for snaps, we wanted to do an engagement shoot there and they wanted like $250 for pro photography access... interesting since I just read that it was a publicly funded project... like 3.8million in bonds !

Wow, seriously?! I saw multiple people there with cameras and there was a family shoot and an engagement shoot going on at the same time. I had my camera with me and actually had my boyfriend do some quick shots of my family.. nothing too fancy or anything. But that's good to know. I was meaning to call them before I started suggesting that location to potential clients.. guess it's off the list!

Hey Westsiders:

Looks like Glendale's Sahuaro ranch park now requires a $100 permit to shoot.

Hello everyone! Been a while since I contributed. Here are a few photos from Sunday. We headed up to Crown King and enjoyed some snow on our way up. Sorry these were taken with my phone but I thought you may all enjoy them regardless.

Making the move full-time to NYC in May… any must-photograph spots in Phoenix that I wouldn't already know about after being here for 14 years?
