I truly believe The OP's initial intent was to buy and keep the camera. He never mentioned he was just going to buy It with the intent to rent it for a few days, and then return it. He changed his mind. Big deal. Every single person on the board has returned something they didn't like. Let's move on.

lol of all the things to take a stand on Joe, I don't think this one holds much weight.

The OP didn't do anything unethical here. Are there people who do abuse return policies? Absolutely, but it wasn't done here. No more unethical than the company he bought it from for hyping all these features that when he tried them out, it didn't live up to his expectations.

I did the same thing not long ago with a $400 tablet. It was hyped to no end, but when I got it, I was very underwhelmed. Returned it after two days. I don't feel a single shred of unethical behavior as the product did not live up to my expectations that were elevated by the marketing of said product.

Love all the apologists on this board.

I love that you appear to be banned. I'm in the same boat as the OP. I'm just not that happy with the t4i's ISO and I'm heavily considering stepping up to an MKII while it's still around $1,500. If BB didn't want me to return a product I wasn't satisfied with, they would remove that ability from their policy.
