aaxsherm Member 203 posts Joined Mar 2010 More info | My assumption is it will be a problem with the plastic collars used in the 24-70 mk1. I had problems with mine, although it was a different issue than yours. I sent it in and they replaced the collars. Here is an article that explains what needs to be replaced. Andy
