Wow, how did I miss this thread? Superb shots!! I have never seen an owl in the wild, and you guys take some fabulous shots of them! Either you guys are owl whisperers, or I suck.. (probably both.. :))

Thanks; we've got a couple owls up here, the great grays and northern hawk owls, that one can sometimes find hunting in the daytime. It's never a sure thing though and sightings are always considered uncommon.

BEAUTIFUL SHOTS!!!!!

Thank you; I appreciate your enthusiasm.

Excellent shots, especially like 3 and 4. I would be building a frame from weathered wood so fast for #3, all are very nice though.

I think #3 takes the prize in my book too; thank you so much for your kind comments.

Fabulous images, and excellent camera settings in such difficult lighting conditions. Soooo envious!

Wow.

Though other images are closer to perfection I especially appreciate the sense of humor in this one.

Thank you, Becky; I actually think all the snow helped with illumination, despite the overcast sky.

Thank you; I would never have believed seeing three in a day was possible, short of another irruption.

A little late to the party here, but these deserve a bump--brilliant images. This species is that "one bird" for me on the bucket list, so I really appreciate these--congratulations!
