Cory, that's a beauty! Great capture and lovely subject.

Thanks Al!! BTW, I love the shot of the feet up in the air...wherever I saw it!

I got mine at Wing Shing on Fa Yuen Street. The other Wing Shing was out of stock, and the Man Shing also. They don't share inventory even though they are the same company, so you have to check the stores separately. Sigma told me they were delivering new stock yesterday. Don't buy from other stores at this time, they overcharge you. I got quotes of 6700-6900 at every other store that had it in stock, Wing Shing sells it for 6300. Really small shady stores go down as low as ~5800, but I wouldn't go there.

Thanks! I'll go ask around again after my last paper! :D

This thread sold me on it, just order mine today. B&H just restocked it for canon. I figured, better get it now before the rumored Canon 35mmL II is release next month. If that len's optics don't beat Sigma's and depending on the pricing of the v2. This Sigma might be the hottest lens out right now

They did say that new stock would be arriving in January, so if you miss it, its not a long wait. Just make sure to keep phoning them and ask.

Those look pretty noisy. Are you sure you didn't over-sharpen? Or was the light just really bad?

I love everything about this lens. Its ability to handle flare, focus accuracy and sharpness. Quite similar, if no better than my previous 35L. Deal breaker was the price. I saved $300+ in the process of trading.

This little guy loved his superhero action figure, skateboard, but look at the emotion on this his face when he opened, you got it, his new princess teacup set that he wanted so bad! I thought he was going to cry with happiness! :D

great Christmas shots!

I think I could throw away all my other lenses other than my 70-200 2.8 nonIS and be happy with just this lens.
