Thanks for the help guys, I feel better now about it and using in in AI Servo seemed to help tremendously. I think I'll either use that or Live View at f/1.4 with this guy. As far as the micro-adjusting, I have mine at +6 right now and it looks pretty good while testing, might be worth checking one more time though to get it perfectly dialed in.

I'll come back with some real pictures soon, have a trip to Tahoe next week!

Glad you could get it working! I spend a good few weeks disappointed with mine till I tried it out in Servo and found it to be a completely different lens! Servo also helps for those little mistakes made when shooting handheld at wide open!

^ These look great I would have never thought to cut off the legs/feet in your first photo, but it certainly looks fine. I'll have to try that sometime. I wonder if it looks fine because of the low angle you shot it from?
