This morning I saw this fine big fellow fishing by the local pond. He rooted around for a while, walked out of the shade towards me, then flew away.

As always, C&C welcomed.

Nice shots but what an ugly bird. The photos seem to have a lot of noise.

Yeah, I made a rookie mistake. When I changed my settings from a user-defined setting to full manual, I failed to note that the ISO was changed to 1600. I could edit these to reduce the noise, but I might lose a little sharpness. My bad!:oops:
