I saw about 260 shows this year so pulling the best 8 photos of the year was a difficult task. But here's a look at what I thought were photos I could be happy with seeing hanging from someone's wall.

#1 Refused at House of Blues, Boston

260 shows is quite a feat, something I don't think I will able to do in my photography life

Great shots you've got there

Thanks Richie. I should clarify that 'shows' meant concerts, not individual dates. and i shot three and a half festivals, so there were likely ~100 bands just from those.

but yeah, busy year overall.

#1 and 8 are great shots. #6 as well, but I saw that a short while back, so I'll have to come back on that ;)

#1 is phenomenal! I'm surprised we haven't run into each other on the Boston circuit yet.

1 is awesome but I have told you that already. :)

I just want to point out that in a year with 260 shows your best photo was one NOT from the pit.

you are right! and there's no way i could have captured it from the pit. luckily the HoB security guys didn't care about shooting from the house that night. w/ them, you never know.
