I’ve been using spot metering linked to active autofocus point with good results, better than evaluative metering. I noticed in the manual that if fully auto AF point is selected the metering defaults to the viewfinder center (pg 326)
I usually use center point with surrounding (9) expansion points and I’m trying to figure out if the metering is following the AF points.
I was wondering if anyone had any tips for using spot metering linked to AF

That looks really nice, John! Love the boat!

Where is it, Florida?

It is about as far away as you can possibly get from Florida Yogi Bear.

It is Perth, Western Australia.

We are experiencing a massive heatwave at the moment, with all of the past week being well over the 100 degree mark with no end in sight, so what better place to be than on the water.

Is it bad that I think it is hysterical that my 2 year-old son is giving wet willies to my 6 month-old daughter?

It may look like it is dangerous, but it is not.

We are all experienced wakeboarders & boat drivers and everything we do is very controlled.

The father (Chris) is an Occupational Health & Saftey Manager for a large mining company here in WA so he is very safety conscious. :)
