Hello everyone, we have a cold and windy day today, I went out for a while and got skunked. So to remember that we are almost over winter....kind of, here are some warmer day shots from this year and last. It will get warm....

Heart-warming shots, Bret, but over winter? I don't think so!

nice shots - do you use flash on any of these to get that shimmer on the feathers or is that just natural light?
thanks for the warm-up

Love the perched shots, when they are stretching, preening. Great set.

Nice series Bret. I too wish for the warmer months. Or you could make a trip to the Norfolk Bontanical Garden...there's a Rufous and a Ruby hanging out there...photographed the Ruby yesterday.

At -26 wind chill this morning, your "Summers Hummers" are quite welcome to take the chill out of the frozen tundra... fine shooting my friend and a Happy New Year to you.
