Thread revival! I stopped using my 7MDC for camera gear, and started using it to carry my shooting supplies to the range. Still a great bag for the price.

I tried to order one through this site in the first post about 2 months or so back. The order went through but a few days later a Rep contacted me saying they had to cancel the order because they were no longer selling the bags!

I got one of the originals from the first post years back and they are so identical to the crumpler that I am assuming they came from the same factory that makes the crumpler bags. My best guess is Crumpler told them to stop or they would take their business elsewhere.

Found another Clone

Found some other clones on ebay. They have a gray one and black one. I just ordered the gray one. I will add a review after I receive it. Brand name is listed as Dermis.

Black - http://www.ebay.com …_Bags&hash=item43b8c12bc2 (external link)

Gray - http://www.ebay.com …_Bags&hash=item43b8c9c7c7 (external link)

For the gray one, I offered 5.99 instead of the 7.99 and it got accepted. Shipping is 10.60.

Hopefully quality is decent. But for about $17, it's not a bad price at all.

Size is listed as 11"x7"x8"

Update: 2 hours after making payment, the bag has been marked as shipped. Estimated arrival is in 3-4 days. Shipped from Carson CA

Thank you skyliner, I just bought the gray one. Paid the full price of 7.99 plus 12.00 shipping. What size Crumpler is this equivalent to? It kind of looks like the 6MDH, but with only one strap on the flap.

Here's another ebay listing for these bags. According to the ebay listing, this bag is larger than the ones skyliner posted above. But when I looked up the item number on amazon, it shows the same dimensions as the ones posted above. So I'm a little confused. I guess I'll find out once I get the bag. Either way, these links show some better photos of the bags.
