Can anyone recommend a free way (without all the clicking and navigating) of downloading all my flickr pictures (original sizes) to my computer. Ive seen Bulkr, but it requires a full license.

Can't help you there I'm afraid, sounds like quite a job to do!

Here's another of Stanners, having moved from table to chair!

Dont worry i found an opensource app called flickredit.

If that does not work - try Flump.

Happy New Year everyone,

Question to macro users, anyone have experience with the L and Non L 100mm lens?, just wondering if the L version really is much better optically from real world use, from what I have read there doesn`t seem to be anything in it, its just IS and build quality.

I think Ian just switched over from the normal to the L version. I've used the non-L for a few years now and don't have any complaints.

Afternoon folks!

I hope everyone's well? Happy New Year to you all

back to work 'properly' today - going to try and make more effort to post this year, last few months have been bonkers busy, but I need to get and take some photos in 2013 (and not just of Cooper!)

I had a non L version, loved it, took some photos I really liked on it - then I upgraded to the L version (I do take a lot of macro shots so it seemed sensible) and I'm really pleased with it, if budget dictates I'd suggest there's not too much noticeable difference between them, I'd hope that the L version lasts a good deal longer than it's more economic counterpart :)

Ho Ho Ho, i'm a little late.

Haven't been on here for a little while as we've had all the family at ours over Christmas, hectic is an understatement!

Hopefully everyone had a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year?! Just wanted to share something i've been itching to share for a little while. I'm sure your all sick of Christmas now, but here goes...

The worlds fastest Christmas tree :D

Merry Christmas from the Caterham Formula 1 Team (external link) by Richard Pardon | Photographer (external link), on Flickr

Caterham F1 Team tasked me with creating something for their Fans/Sponsors in the way of a Christmas Card. This is what I suggested, and (rather surprisingly) got accepted

Great fun to make, will do a Behind The Scenes at some point (All created in camera).

Comments welcome (oh and its on 500PX if anyone wants to share a little love :D)

Cracking shot Richard, love it!

Yeah I went for the L version and its superb, I think worth the upgrade.

Question for the PC bods.

All of a sudden my main PC seems to be having IP conflicts. Not sure why this has started at all. Its linked via a wi-fi reciever to the router.

Router > wi-fi receiver > netgear switch > PC

Dont seem to have a problem with any other deviat are that are attached. weird.

Day 1 of paternity leave, figured out which way up the baby is supposed to be held! Winner, the wife will be pleased ;)
