Hey everyone, I was extremely fortunate enough to take a trip to Banff National Park, I visited all the way from Australia.

I was only here for a very short amount of time (maybe 6 or 7 days) but I made the most of every single day that I was there. I was up at 4/5am most mornings and didn't arrive home until 8/9pm most evenings. This ensured I got to explore and see as much as possible in such a short amount of time.

I will be returning in April and I will work and live here for 2 years... I am so very excited and keen to get back there. I love you, Banff.

An extraordinary set! You are really lucky for going to move there! Seems your plans were similar than mine when I was in the Rockies. I also woke up early for sunrise shots, and then spend the whole day until after sunset.

Keep up the excellent work!

Thankyou so much Seryani!

It is definitely the best way to get a whole lot done in such a small amount of time :). I was exhausted after the trip, but it was worth it!

Excellent images! What brings you there for a two year job? Hope it gives you plenty of time for a whole portfolio of Banff images!

Great series! You made very good use of your short time there. If you did this much in a week, I can't wait to see the shots you take when you're there for 2 years... ;-)a

Thanks Harpo! I am hoping to work in a restaurant/bar for the summer and then to work on the ski slopes for winter :)... that's the plan!

Awesome shots, every single one! I really can't pick out the best, because they are all tremendous, but I really like the shot with the train . . . very original to show a ribbon of red snaking through the valley . . .

Beautiful shots, I plan on making it up to Banff within the next year.

Do you recommend a specific time of year? I was thinking either early June or late September time frame.

Outstanding results for such a quick trip. You must not have had a wife to deal with who was constantly telling you that you were a fanatic. Hahaha.

Always enjoy all of your great images you post.. Can you tell us what software you use to process your shots..

On another note, I have a customer who was an Olympic skier for Switzerland, she is now a sports announcer in Europe..Travels the world. I asked her what was her favorite place she visited, she said Bannf.. So I understand you love for that area.

Look forward to see your awesome shots of folks on the slopes..

Spectacular shots. Living there would be awesome...Working there...well, I guess that depends on what the "work" was. :D In any event, pretty hard to pass up having that as your back yard!
