New year's great gray owl

I spent so much time volunteering last year that I really didn't have much time for photography. So, I decided that 2013 will be different - as much as I love the volunteer work, I gotta make more time for other things. 2013 got off to a great start with a very cooperative great gray owl yesterday in Sax Zim Bog.

Thanks, I'm heading up to Winnipeg in March for several days of owl watching! Hope to get some more photos then. And hopefully get a chance to hit Sax Zim Bog another time or two this winter.
