A note to that effect when posting would have been good ;)

^^Did the puck make it in? Nice timing and exposure. :)

One more, from a recent shoot. The 85L and the 1DX were made for each other. ;)

QUOTED IMAGE

I'll say they are!;)

This is a gorgeous photo Manish, I love it.

Thank you, and nice image on your end as well!

The puck did not make it in. Here's the very next frame in the shot sequence:

Thanks, and bummer. But, that's what good goalies do...prevent scoring. ;)

Nice. ;)

Well I suppose it is a good thing when you are so busy shooting that you don't have time to visit POTN and post anything.

Had this wonderful camera since August and thought I would start sharing finally.

I really enjoyed this one from a commercial shoot back in September - can anyone from LA identify where this is?

Enclosing a casual hand-held at ISO 8000 (f/2.8 - 1/125)...the ISO performance is impressive!

Thanks

I bet this article will put a lot of 5DMK3's and 1DMK4's up for sale.

Funny when you look back at all of the cheap talk about "Why would I pay that much for a 1DX when ____ is just as good with only 1 stop less ISO".

There are many advantages to the latest tech. from Canon .... especially with the 1 series body's.

Amen. I have a real budget problem now that I've owned a 1D. Even though the used bodies can be had for a good price, things that bolt on them and support them are not cheap... Pure joy to use though.
