A decent update to Fuji. Now all we have to see is the proof of a faster AF!

Looks just like what I wanted, assuming that the menu has been improved along with the AF!

I really admire Fuji's efforts. I get the feeling that they take in all the criticism and feedback and really strive to implement changes on future models.

I can't wait to see these changes implemented on the X Pro1 successor.

Same here. i can already imagine I will be a loyal customer to Fujifilm... They are humble and really listening. I currently own the XE1 and love it. The Xpro1s (if this si what it will be called) is for sure my next camera purchase... after buying the X100s. Then I will be pretty much all set and it's very likely I will then sell all my Canon left over, which I don't use much at all after I switched to mirrorless.

x20 for 599$ seems to be the way better compare G15, which is availible as low as 379$.
I'm was looking for replacement of our ten years old, 5MP, good and still working digital advanced P&S FujiFilm. My wife using it instead of 5D and 500D because Canon has unusable auto modes.
I was looking at G15, but what the useless OVF it has, same as at X10.
Now with X20 it has OVF with all of the info!
Amazing! Same like DSLR does.
I'm saving money for X20. In black!

I was set on buying an OM-D, but I may have to consider these new options. I'll be waiting to see some good samples from both.

Same for me. The x100s is very tempting if the AF is as described. I don't mind a fixed lens since 35mm works for me. This should force sony to lower the price of the RX1 I'd think. Less than half the price (much less) for APS vs FF, and the Fuji has many options the sony doesnt (viewfinder for starters).

It is FF and it comes with Zeiss. Sony is vs Leica here, not Fuji.

I don't think they are going to touch Leica. The camera doesn't even have a viewfinder. They must be after shallow dof junkies.

With such great iso perpormace these days, I don't see any reason someone would buy the rx1 over a new x100s. The only reason imo would be for shallow dof.

I only know why it is priced so high. But personally I would not buy it.

One of my industry trade secrets which is the same in consumer industry.
People buy Sony, just because it is Sony. It is same as Leica for some, but with Sony it is even more people. It is same as Mercedes and Toyota. Two different groups of consumers emotionally attached to specific name.
With Fuji it seems to be different. I don't think most people buy it because of the name, but because of the product.

I love my x10 as a compliment to my 7D. Looking forward to upgrading to the x20....well done Fuji!

You are right. Many people, myself included, buy Fuji because it offers products that answer our needs.

Fuji amazes me how they actually listens to their customers. What a concept!
