First time posting here as this was my first outing with the big stopper. Used on the TS-E 24mm and got overwhelmed with all the things to remember - no auto anything!

Both photos also used a Lee GND soft .9. First one was 45 seconds and second one was 30 seconds.

I like the rock in the first, those look like great subjects.

The second one has some great potential, I like the setting, and like those foreground rocks. I wish they were not so underexposed, they look like they have some great texture. Was the GND on the bottom?

Thanks, Harm and TRhoads. You are correct about the rocks. The GND was at the top but I could additionally have used the .6 I believe. It's the same rock as in the first shot on the left with limpets stuck to it.

Great feedback and I'll think about that the next time :)

really nice perdido, where is that, I have seen some images from that spot before I think, I like it.

JohnPH, that is also a really cool shot, I like the processing and presentation of it a lot.

xpfloyd

sorry for speaking for you Perdido

Feel free, my presence on here tends to be very sporadic so it could have been a while before I would have got around to answering.

TRhoads

If you search St Monans on Flickr you'll be inundated with images from this spot. It has become a bit of a favourite among Scottish photogs. The processing done on this one is really quite minimal, a bit of contrast and saturation were added and not a lot more. The blue tones are a bi-product of the Lee Big Stopper.

Went out to test my Big stopper again, i coupled it with Hitech 0.9 GND hard filter too, i feel i want to sell my Hitech GND and buy either LEE GND or go for glass version from Formatt or Schneider or Tiffen.

Awesome series Tareq! I like #1 best; I love those ripples and detail in the foreground.
