Well, all working pro photographers in northern Michigan are sure to take a hit with the incredible talents of this kind of competition! All I can say is "Wow."

Pink Mustang Photography - quite a name. My personal favorite is picture of the deer with the tree in focus. Fantastic work!

Well at least something was in focus! She even posted the OOF business card shot! Laughed my you-know-wut off when I saw that!

A one woman campaign to make other CL photographers look good?

That's awesome. It reminds me of a woman here who advertised that she had special "blurred background" software.......

My father informed me my Chit for Brains stepbrothers wife has just started a "Photography Business" in the country town where they live.
She is advertising weddings portraits and " All your photographic Needs".

She is pitching her services on face ache where she has posted mainly pics of her kids and some friends and some shots of horses from the paddock down the road. She has some Wedding pics that I'm surprised the couple didn't find offensive actually. They are not just snapshots, The "creativity" angles she has used like shooting from under the large brides chin really makes for the couple looking like monsters all jokes aside. I can't fathom how any woman could possibly like pictures of themselves like this they are unflattering in the extreme. There is snapshot pics, bad pics and these which as I say are just offensive to a person.

The rest are the usual P&S happy snaps taken as anyone else that got a camera for christmas would do. We can laugh or **** about people like this but at the end of the day I just find the delusion sad.
Who the hell is going to pay somone to take a pic of their horses arse like she is showing on her face waste page or make them look as bad as they have ever been seen?
At best these people do noting more than anyone else with a camera or a phone would do.

Fortunately, my non relative is so bad that there really is no hope of her getting work although she seems well spured on by the comments from her friends on face waste.
They fortunately will never be in the position to have to back their oohs and ahhs up with their money.

And money is clearly the motivation for this. Neither of them work, they have 5 children including a newborn and live literally in a country shack. I spose that's how one can go from no knowledge at all to touting their "Professional Services and craftsmanship" over night.

If she put some effort into finding a basic job a few days a week she'd certainly do a lot better by herself and the family but I guess that dosen't have the same glamour to it.

There has always been the hopeful and try hard shooters around but The digital age has lowered or removed the need for any skill or knowledge at all and brought the level of people thinking they are a photographer to all new heights. Or in quality terms, Lows.

I guess in the case of those that have so little comprehension of things they post out of focus pics to promote themselves, They only help the ones with more skill by showing just how bad things can actually get!

From RDKirk: First, let me check the forum heading...yes, it does say "Business of Photography" and not "Hobby of Photography." Okay. So we're talking about making money, not about hobbies. By "business" I am presuming activities that pay expenses and produce a profit over the long term.

I, for one, am looking forward to hearing her speak during her up coming world tour photography excellence workshop.
