I need to learn the technique! I am just a noobie at photography and have been out of practice for a few years now.. Just got my camera two weeks ago.. so these are pretty bad... can't wait to start my classes this semester! very excited to jump feet first into this!

What kind of camera??? Are you shooting in manual yet? That is essential for these type of photos!

okay is this one any better? lol :( i'm sort of embarrassed to say... I haven't had a camera in almost 2 years now... I have been having fun going out and getting some practice, suffice to say I need to thoroughly go through this forum and the manual though haha.. I am in manual mode, I just don't exactly know ANYTHING about light and I am very new to the whole thing. So any tips at all, I am a sponge and want to learn as much as I can!

Yes, this one is better. There are a lot of amazing resources on this site and I owe primarily what I know to these forums (and a lot of trial and error). Also, there is never a need to remove your photos! You can't look at your growth if you don't see where you started.

Sun flare shots are all about the subject...meaning expose for your subject, make sure ISO is at 100 and adjust the other settings as needed. That's a start at least!
