Aden Camera Currently has the Canon EOS 5D MK III w/ EF 24-105mm f4L IS USM
for $3585.00 and the body for $3079 which isn't a bad deal. Just wish the sale didn't
end tomorrow, as I can't afford anything until April.

Doesn't matter what the cart shows for B&H... they can't ship bodies to Canada anymore apparently...

I got many items online from US ; many people from Windsor are using this service; they don't charge much ; as soon as the package arrived to their location they called/emailed me to pick it up.The problem is you'll take it across the border and still have to pay taxes to Canada Customs.

if everything works out beautifully (and how often does that happen with crossing a border twice this quickly) I'd be home in a little over 4 hours... I dunno that this is worth it

Adorama still ships this to Canada. Apparently the final price is even cheaper than B&H.

Really? At what point does it say that -- it lets me go all the way to the payment screen without saying they won't ship to Canada (and the page is showing the shipping and customs clearing costs for Canada fine as well).

On the slightly related note of ridiculous Canadian prices, the Lee filters 82mm WA adapter, between $60 and $65 from pretty much any US supplier (and totally overpriced even then for what is simply a metal ring) is $119 from Vistek. And even at that price they don't have it in stock.

If its 3300 + tax vs say 3000 USD its worth it i you dont get charged importing it,if you do then probably not ... So i guess its a gamble

Plus you will likely get charged 1-3% on your CC for the currency change

It really depends who you get at the border my wife and i are cdn but live in MI now and we have loaded our SUV at least 10 times and they have never charged us a penny even after telling them and them searching and seeing thousands of dollars of things we said we were living in canada. But that is through the Nexus line... and i think we are just lucky to be honest.

welcome to canada! we may not have the most competitive prices for camera gear but we do generally have stereotypically nice and polite people here

like others have said, henry's and vistek are the main online retailers with aden camera being another potential option. if you are close enough to the canada/usa border you can always get stuff shipped to a mailbox/receiver and drive over to pick up. i live near toronto so i have ordered stuff from b&h shipped to cbiusa and picked it up as part of day trips to the land of ihop and cheesecake factory.
