This is Sako, he's an American Staffordshire Terrier. We show in AKC & UKC conformation shows, and he's also titled in weight pull and lure coursing, plus he has his CGC & therapy dog certification through TDI. He's my little all around awesome dog! He's aka as AKC Ptd./UWP CA GRCH Kayo's Make An Impact CGC, TDI "Sako"

Took a few new ones of him yesterday, so thought I'd share them here. He's 26 months old now:

Oh trust me, he's a total mush, not a mean bone in his body. He just looks serious in pictures, he's a super goofy boy that loves everyone!

 While I LOVE that show, that's not where I got it from ;) and it's pronounced "Say-ko" (like the watch brand), not "Sock-o".

He's named after the rifle brand in Finland (hence his show name "Make An Impact", to go with the gun theme).. they probably pronounce it "Sock-o" or "Sack-o" over there but I didn't like how that sounded. I also have a dog named "Wilson" who's named after Wilson Combat.

Thanks! We're aiming for more this year.. hoping to get him titled in agility and maybe rally for 2013. And if I'm lucky, finish his AKC CH title.. but time will tell :)

Good looking dog. I really like the breed.
#2 by looking at head pose it looks like someone was pulling his head with a leash and then you photoshopped it away. I would prefer natural pose, not forced one.

The name Sako is pronounced as it is written "sako" in here. When english speaking people say that name, it sounds like say-ko. Its because we say letter A differently. Actually it sounds like when doctor is looking in your mouth and ask you to say AAAAA

Yes you are correct, my friend was holding him in all of these. The second picture is what is considered a "stacked" picture, that's how we "pose" them in the show ring. It's meant to show off the dogs conformation. There's also a "free stack", where you basically let them stack themselves (although they're so used to standing in that position that they pretty much set themselves up that way). This was a free stack (he was 18 months old here), the more recent picture shows off his neck better than this one:

I kind of figured it was supposed to be said like that! This is how I say it:
