I have the opteka lens hood. It was like 7$ shipped on Amazon. Can't beat it for the cost. It isn't felt-lined inside, but it does what it needs to do.

Have been watching this forum for a while and all the great photos convinced me I needed one. So I picked up a like new copy of this lens today. Have not had a lot of opportunity to stretch it's legs but I can tell I am going to love it!

I was once told ,if your 85mm Sit in your bag most of the time 85mm 1.8 is your lens ! i think i am gonna get one now ,since i just sold my never used 85mm 1.2L .. wish me luck guys !!

Another thing about the 85mm I like, on my T2i it's close to a 135mm FOV which gives me a fast indoor sports option and a tighter portrait capability.
