I was getting dressed for church this morning and I happened to think of this concept. I thought it turned out pretty well, not quite what I had in mind but much closer to the mental image than most of my other work

So, you were getting ready for church and decided on the devilish red tie?! :) I love the contrast in this shot, Marm. That red is a poppin' !

very very sweet. I love this shot... it works very well in conjunction with the first shot (yeah, I know it isn't the same couple) because it carries the theme. I liked your Shakuhachi flute player series from September because you had a "big picture" pull-back shot and then a couple of detail shots. This pair you just posted reminds me of that. You have the happy couple and then some detail shots which visually describe them being in love. Very Cool Jamganz...

Thanks, Marm. I appreciate the comments. I had a few other shot that I was hoping to utilize to make a larger series but the emotion just wasn't there. Next time! :)

Thanks...
Red is the color of passion. I'm an extremely passionate and loving person. Unfortunately, I've allowed American societal expectations to cork my bottle. I'm trying to fix that...

My original concept was to have the passionate red tie forming a noose that threatened to strangle my throat. But I decided to cut the symbolism and just aim for a decorative/graphic piece.

Creeper
I adore the street photography you've posted. The lovers were to busy being engrossed in each other to notice you taking pics anyway

he-he...thanks. it's much different shooting this type of stuff in NYC than anywhere else. the pace is so fast that (practically) nobody notices! i would have a harder time shooting this down in VA.

Thanks, i had so much fun there.I wanted to try to take documentary shots, each series is entirely shot in less than 2 hours. I had many ideas but so little time but that's the way it always is.
