gorgeous shots, the camera loves the subject.

fantastic shots, love the softness and bokeh, and the spot-on sharpness where it needs to be.

Thanks a lot guys! Felix, it's a common misconception and something I have to address on every other thread I make. I shot everything at 1.4 meaning the dof was very shallow especially on straight on shots of the eyes. While this may cause the skin on the face in front of the dof in focus to naturally smooth before I even retouch in post, it's not the full case.

I retouch using a non destructive way taught by one of the best in the industry (Pratik Naik) and guarantee the skin texture is there on every one of my shots no matter how hard it is to see when viewing at 100% and not a crop but just so this doesn't come up again in this thread, here are two crops showing skin texture is visible.

I hope this settles that debate but am glad to hear everyone is enjoying the shots. I'll be meeting with her in studio this coming week for another shoot and can't wait!

Really stellar stuff. I'm finding it difficult to believe that some of these were all natural light!

Why? Snow all around is like a big light card and they're all over-exposed so it's easy to expose for the face with no external light. Not hard.

That's a really nice series of photos. A good overcast day in the snow provides such excellent light. Her expressions and your compositions are wonderful.

The right side of #4 and #2 - great contrast, color and the eyes make it.
