Subscribing. Had a 50 1.4, traded it for an 85 1.8, then sold that lens because I was in a money crunch and because I never really got into using it. I'm thinking of buying it again..

Very nice, but there's a very noticable amount of CA on their hands. Easy to remove with lightroom/photoshop. Even easier if you use a lens profile.

Some of my lenses focus beyond infinity...!

^ Thanks!

I only have photoshop elements and I never really learned how to do that except going into "Change color" and eye-dropping the CA (magenta, right?) and bringing down that slider,

Is that how you get rid of CA?

(don't freak out that I'm such a newb with this engagement gig because I wasn't paid for it - the girl is my cousin. ;) )

I'm such a newb. :)

Wonderful. I took one look and knew this had to have been shot with a full frame camera...and I was right.

Sorry if this is way off topic--I just wanted to really compliment the pics above :). I'll ask this same question in an appropriate thread.

Thanks!:D

Beautiful photo and well composed. Your daughter seems like a natural when it comes to modeling :)
Got a five year old at home who thinks his dad is VERY annoying with the camera ALL the time.
