I had convinced myself Tuesday night that no, I really didn't need a 50-150 f/2.8 lens for my T2i (and potential follow on 7D or its replacement), and let the Sigma promotion expire.

B&H now informs me that the promo (making the lens, a great focal length on a crop, BTW, only $999 with free shipping) has been extended six more weeks to the end of February!

Must .....resist.......temptation......

T2i 18-55 IS, 55-250 IS, Sigma 30 mm f/1.4, Canon 60 mm f/2.8 Macro, Canon 15-85 IS USM, Sigma 17-50 f/2.8 EX HSM OS, 430EX II S95 G7X

I resisted buying the 40 Pancake until right before the end of the rebate. Then they extended the rebate AGAIN.

I'm currently resisting the Tokina 16-28 whose rebate ends the end of this month. We'll see.

Mark, I can relate. I resisted buying a new lens over Christmas break. And what did Canon do? They have extended their low prices. I'm trying to hold out until Feb 1st. They've just got go back up by then! lol
