Weird. Is the noise loud? I hear a super faint click when I tilt mine, but I have to tilt it quickly to make it happen.

How's the CA on this lens using a crop sensor?

I'm really frustrated by my Canon 85mm 1.8 and I'm thinking about upgrading.

Essentially non existent. That's why I went with the siggy over the canon. The CA on the canon drove me nuts.

In bright sunlight wide open it's pretty bad, but it IS fixable. I don't know how that compares to your Canon, but I've been able to remove most CA from wide-open shots in the sunlight so far.

Those highlight edges will get you every time, Bobby. I've never shot with the 85L though, so I can't compare how less/more it is.
