That soft release is sweet! I almost got that but ended up with the red boop instead. I can happily report it hasn't budged since day one.

Nice! I want an A&A strap so bad but just can't justify it quite yet. Here's a pano from my drive up to Mt Hood

Who uses an M-mount adapter, and which one?
I've read the Fuji one might have some issues with lenses not focusing properly on infinity, some lenses do not fit and the price tag is a bit steep for just a metal donut (although the electrical contacts and automated corrections might be useful, this takes just a couple of seconds in post process)

with the lenses that Fuji has, and the amazing image quality you get from them, i don't see the need to ad an adapter and super expensive leica lenses....

i think it might be a bit of an overkill, IMO.

I just ordered a BOP -- I had a hard time deciding between the boop and the bop.. Hopefully I like it!

Fujirumors.com says they will release new firmware tomorrow for the X-E1, X-Pro1, and XF35. The all promise improvement of autofocus capabilities. Should be interesting!

Has anyone had any issues with the hot shoe on the X-E1? For the first time last night, the hot shoe wouldn't work. It wouldn't trigger my Cactus V5, 580exII, or YN-560 -- All which previously worked. After a lot of trial and error I finally reset the factory settings on the camera, and it finally worked.

This morning I decided to test it... it wouldn't fire again! So I tried the built in flash.. wouldn't fire either!

So I reset the factory settings, and all seemed to work again.. what the hell is going on?

I'm just gonna throw this out there because it happened to me with the YN triggers...
Do you have fresh batteries?
