This family and I went out and braved the January weather and fog this day. I used off camera flash (as I most always do) to bring a little sparkle to the dreary flat lighting and to fake some sunshine in a few of them. Thanks for looking/commenting!

These are great. Love number 6, looks like he's had fun in the mud! This has motivated me to take some of my own Mrs (due in 3 weeks).

Thanks you two! I love the last pic too but I had to photoshop in the chalkboard. The fog was so heavy everything was wet and the chalk refused to write on location.

Nope, 3rd but first boy! looks like I'll have to clean plenty of dirty knees myself! Lucky the girls would rather play inside with the princess toys.
Do you know what the next one is, boy, girl or surprise?

Great shots! I also agree about the comment about dirt/mud on the clothing. In particular, the dirt on #5 stuck out to me since it's on a white shirt.

Thanks! I totally missed that mud somehow. Thanks for pointing it out! I think perhaps my monitor is still just a bit too bright because though its there, its difficult to notice if not looking closely. Thanks again!

Shane... good work.
I think #2 and #7 are maternity portraits and the others are family portraits. :)

I do that too in my a maternity session... get booked as a maternity session.....bring the other family members in (usually at the end of the shoot)... hoping to get additional sales rather than just the maternity pictures....and it usually works. ;)
