All my visits there have been work and hence just stayed at business type hotels but Cindy did do a review of a more boutique type place that she really rated. I'll see if I can track it down.

Edit: Hotel Saint-Paul in the Latin Quarter. Website here: http://hotelsaintpaulparis.com (external link)

That looks very nice thank you very much:D

We drove because we were touring around but while you are there you don't need a car, they have a decent tram system and the centre is also very easily accessed on foot.

Will have to see if we get there later in the year.

Cheers all, wish I had gone when it was actually snowing though, and the path down was just solid ice, but a lady told me not to bother so I took the steps down, much safer

I saw the step when I came out and did think of it. But going up was easier than going down, good job they have put in a decent hand rail.
The light level on Sunday morning was rubbish, not good.

Thanks for the votes folks.
Nice panos Mike.
Best one from the collection of dogs today (I was being a dog trainer not a photographer today!). This is Betty I think she must be one of the cutest dogs I've ever met, she's a bichon crossed with a border terrier and she's v feisty and hard work but adorable.

It's not in the same class as the last place I recommended you to but at Paris prices, it's pretty good value :)

Will have to see if we get there later in the year.

If you look to the other corner of the car park to the left you will see an archway which leads gently down pass a band stand through the woods and comes out at the same gate at the bottom, the normal path is just ridiculous at the mo, if it snows again tomorrow then I will try and get there for about 12ish, its ment to snow all day

Can anyone recommend a hotel in Paris?

Looking at going there for a long weekend in March.

To be honest I've had a poor experience both times I've been. No idea why, just didn't enjoy the city. You'll love it though I'm sure, I'm just odd :D
