I just placed an order for the Kacey 22" beauty dish. The grid is not in stock. Does anyone know if another grid will work with this dish?

Thanks.

I heard honeycombgrids will make one that fits. There is a thread somewhere with pictures and samples.

I sent an email to honeycomb grids enquiring about it. Thanks for the info. I got an email from Kacey Enterprises and they said they are currently unable to get the materials for the aluminum grids they have been making but R and D is working on another material and will be a few weeks before they anything finalized. Great customer service by the way. Ingot an email right after my order asking me how I planned on mounting it I answer that and asked about the grid and got an another answer. All of that on a Sunday evening. Thanks Jerry!

Thanks for starting up this thread. I was going to to the same if one hadn't been made already. The explanation for the OOS kacey grid is much appreciated, as they never emailed me back when I inquired.
I was going to make a gamble and get the impact grid (external link), but at least I know I have a better chance going the route through honeycombgrids. I've sent them a quote and look forward to a response.

I heard back from Honeycomb grids today. They do make the grid for the Kacey BD. $119 plus $10 shipping.

Jerry is great. He called me to answer a question I had
while he was at a New Years Eve party 2 years ago.

It is probably best for everyone that the grid is out of stock and I wouldn't bet that he is "Unable" to get the material. Maybe he's finally tired of dealing with these problems...............

So Kacey Claims to be a professional supplier, I got a delayed delivery, which they admitted was their fault and then they sent a beauty dish that doesent work, the bracket is faulty. I get a call from the team explaining how I was weak and not able to screw the bracket and how it will take them only 2 minutes to fix this. Well the least I expected was an apology, instead the guy almost yells at me and hangs up. I had better experience at ebay.
