I bought this as a backup for my 5D3. No regrets whatsoever. I've used 5D2's and the thing I hated the most about 5D2 was its AF. I have no AF issue with the new 6D.

I wish it had the joystick just like 5D3 and 7D though.

Love my 6D. I kept my other cameras and I'm doing comparisons to find out what works best where... I hope to sell something at some point :)

Nope, I'm very happy with my 6D. Kept my 1DIII for fast stuff but for portraits and events the 6D is great.

Like Patrick above, my only regret is that I didn't get the kit.
Now I want to go get a 24-105.

I didn't upgrade. I got the 6D to compliment the 7D, which I think it does wonderfully.

same.
when my wife goes from 60D to 5D mark something, i'll insist she get the lens.
she wants to keep her 24-70, and i'll also insist that she does (so i can have the 24-105, lol).

we are keeping the 7D.

BTW Adobe forced me to upgrade to Lightroom 4 (thanks guys). Life is too short to DNG the files with DPP to get them into LR.

:) nobody wants to pay for software...

Sounds like you got the right body for your needs. It's an impressive value, IMO.

I just sold a 5D mark II for the sole reason that its auto-ISO doesn't go past 400 in manual mode. We'll see how I like the rest of the 6D when it arrives.

Love my 6D and have no regrets. Upgraded from a Rebel XTi / 400D which I kept for my wife who wants to learn how to use a DSLR. No comparison in any regard between these two cameras. I am not even bothered that the kit price seems to have dipped (and gone back up) as I pre-ordered and received the camera the day before a trip out of state, and if I had waited I would not have had the 6D for the trip.

Some of my personal favorite (and most popular on my Flickr) photos were shot during that trip! Can't be happier

Adobe updated Camera Raw in mid-December to read raw files from the 6D:

No regrets here, other than limited time to get out and use it a lot. I came from the 50D, so I am getting used to not having a joystick but I don't mind too much.

What kind of AF issues did you have with the 5D2?

Hi,
I am trying to decide on a 5d3 or 6D. Based on the pictures I saw so far, 6D 's color seemed to be a bit different compared to 5D3. Did you notice any color tone difference? Also which camera seemed to work better with 35L 1.4 and 85 1.2? Thanks!
