Took it outside this morning :)

I thought my EF-S 10-22 was sharp on my 40D. This lens is just silly-sharp (these were taken with a 5DIII). :D

Thanks!

That is exactly why for me, having it be accurate at long distances wide open is critical. The shifting I get with distance/light on my first copy is no bueno! So here is hoping to copy #2 tomorrow that all will be OK otherwise I give up on the Sigma for the next few months (or all together!)... Which would be sad, because the lens is simply awesome otherwise... But I would rather use an accurate focusing 35L without shifting over the sharper Sigma.

^^What he said...exactly^^ (except my copy will not be here until next week prob)

I wish you luck Cory on your next one! I will update here tomorrow as soon as UPS drops it off and I give it an hour or so to thaw... :p

najiabinader: wow, love the f/4 look and feel. Oily Bokeh! I've never stopped down this lens past f2. Gotta try that.

???

he was using the 1dx to capture those two samples and i used that as an excuse to get the oily bokeh as you mentioned.
