Kane was a pound puppy, my sister got him at 10 weeks, then her HOA stated they weren't allowed to have any dogs under 1 year old, he was shuffled to 2 different households until he came home with me all before the age of 1. Turning 2 in December he has never been happier, and surprisingly doesn't suffer from separation anxiety. He is a "Labloodhound"

Misty Lou...was living in Weatherford Texas with 17 other Shelties in a house. The owner lived in a tent trailer. The house was condemned. I got her at ~3 years old, she is now 12.

She's beautiful!!

Here's my Kinsler! 9 months old and just graduated from her Advanced Training class at Petsmart today. She was about 7 weeks old and sick with kennel cough when we got her from the Irving Animal Shelter.

Howdy,

Here's our Bichon mix that we got from a rescue center back in April. He was in bad shape when he came off the streets but several centers put in weeks of rehab and got him up to adoptable health condition. He has since, as you can see, really turned into a cutie :D.

These two crashed my set (otherwise known as my living room)

Yoshi on the left is our 1 year old Yorkie rescue, and Momo, on the right, is our Morkie mix rescue. They were both rescued from puppy mills.

They're looking a bit scrappy in this one...they had just gotten up after burrowing THROUGH the sheets in the bedroom.

Another find, Joey. Was found walking through an alley in the city. Luckily a vet tech from a nearby hospital found him.

Not the best focus, but this is Gus at about 6 months old. Originally we thought he was some sort of retriever ... he turned out to be a 45 pound dog that looks a lot like a little German Shepherd

We rescued Gracie (full-bred Yorkie) from a dog rescue up in WI back in Sept. They had rescued her from a breeder who unfortunately had the beginning stages of Alzheimer's. The lady would forget to feed them and didn't trim their nails, hair, etc. The lady who rescued Gracie said that when she got her she couldn't walk because her toenails were growing under her pads and she was super skinny. Right now she is a healthy 11.5 lbs, but when they rescued her she was under 6 lbs. She is just over a year old now and is the sweetest thing! Unless you're a squirrel.
