Dang it, I just ordered through Amazon and they won't price match.

Well hopefully this is the start of sub-$1800 sales.

I almost did it, but state taxes took it to $1818 for me.

I wish this was available for shipping. Will Best Buy or Amazon price match if I don't have a Fry's store in my state?

Canon 6D and lovin' it.

I dont think the other stores will price match.

But on the other hand, I was at frys the other day and saw a sign that said "we price match internet prices!" I wonder how true that is but it was hanging over the camera section.

I'm sure Best Buy (if you prefer buying at the store) will price match if you can show them Fry's sale price (by sales ads or take a pic or video of the Fry's price tag).

I did it before when I took a pic and a video of Fry's 5D III sale price and brought it to Best Buy, and they matched it.

Fry's will match internet prices as long as they can pull it up on their computer and it's not some fly by night, hokey place.

This is actually pretty interesting and I'm tempted to try it our with one of the scam sites. Every once in a while you will see top end cameras being sold by one of the bait and switch type internet stores for less than 1/2 the cost of a legitimate store. If Fry's will price match, will they match that price?

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

Hmmm, 2300 $ for the kit, that seems like a good deal that will likely get common in only 6 months to a year... Maybe I should order it to be shipped to an Oregon store and pick it up when I go visit my brother. In theory should be tax free. Wonder how long they will keep the item there for pickup.

Best Buy states that for in store price matching the store has to be within 25 miles of the Best Buy.
