For something different, I've got a set of 1D X images taken at ISO 25,600 at this thread:

https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1270331

I didn't want to repost them all but here is a sample.

400mm, 1/800sec, f/2.8, IS0 25,600 1D X

These shots here are great. Can someone answer a very basic and probably well worn question for me here?:

I am contemplating selling my 1D3 and 1Ds3 for this camera. I know what this camera is capable of for sports and low light shooting. BESIDES total MP resolution, do you feel this camera gives anything away to Canon's previous studio cameras in IQ (i.e: 1Ds3)?

I'm wondering if I can replace my current 2 cameras without giving up anything on either of them.

Thank you.

While I wish I had tons of $$'s for higher priced lighting equipment, I just can't afford it. As such, I own White Lightnings, and here was just one light with a beauty dish that was gridded, way up high, frame left. To the right of the frame is a wall, which bounced some of that light back to lift the shadows. Simple as that. :)

The rest of the set is here -- https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1270245
