My apologies if you opened this thread looking for Vanilla Ice. ;-)a

We took a walk to Bash Bish Falls today (located near the NY/MA border). While the falls are always pretty, I found myself especially drawn to the ice found at the river's edge. And I even managed to stay dry. :)

As always, CC appreciated. Thanks for looking!

Beautiful shots, Katherine. What body and lens?

BTW, I love #5 and am also glad you left Vanilla Ice in the 80s!

Thanks.

Thank you everybody! And SkyBaby - it was cold (about 15 degrees)!

wmcy, I have a Canon T2i. *whispers* I used the kit lens (18-55mm).

You're quite the little adventuress. You've taken us to a lot of interesting places, and your photographic skills have improved steadily through the years.

Many would have overlooked the ice formations entirely, but you not only spotted them, you used them to compose striking photos.

Very nice shots! I think I like #2 the best, but all are great. You have a good creative eye for seeking out interesting compostions.
