$129 including shipping. 3 hours left on the deal (over at midnight?).

Okay lens, good price.

Take the '9' off of the end, and I might buy it. ;)

I wonder if the video editors on The Titanic ever went, "Sorry, I can't right now. I'm busy synching the Titanic..."

Hell, take the 1 of the front end and I would buy it.

As a hobbyist and no interest in spending thousands on equipment, this is a good lens that I own and use frequently.

Anyone in my area can buy one off me for $50. I'll admit those things are good at being cheap.

Do yourselves a small favor and spend a tiny bit more and buy a 55-250is!

Here's a couple on ebay for $109 - but I didn't take time to see if they are authorized seller...

Don't have one - don't want one.

I would, but only because I could sell it for a profit. ;)

oye, why don't they just cancel that lens entirely?

I tried one of them out at a show a few months back just to see what the bad vibes were all about. I took a couple shots with my T2i, looked at the files and talked to the rep that was behind the counter and he basically said something to the effect of "they make us put it out on the shelf..." I laughed and looked at a few other lenses. Almost walked away with the 100-400, I still like that one even though it's a "dust pump". It would fit into my needs a lot more than so many other lenses. That and I want to can my 70-300. It's a good copy but I would still like to have 400mm capability.
