Haven't posted here in a long time, but here's one of my best from this past Summer. Shot at Summit Point WV. 5D MKII, 70-200 2.8 non-IS, hand held at 1/20, f/3.5 (it's Facebook quality so it's a little grainy looking)

Thanks! Yeah you should! With their angles and smoke, pans can get really creative during drift events.

Not me...with aviation and birds in flight, there's too wide a space I need to pan through which did weird things to the exposure the one time I used one. If I'm in a situation where I don't need to pan widely, I do use one.

I just a CP all the time for automotive stuff, especially drifting. Really cuts down on glare.

Pretty much always have a CPL on, unless its night time. I have a ND filter as well, but I haven't used it with motorsports. Removing the reflections in windshields really adds another effect to the pan, IMO. Especially if you can get a clear shot of the driver.
