I actually traded Props and Jets for some Feathers...

This probably won't be a regular thing for me, but it was a very enjoyable morning!

Awesome job Jay.
I guess much of the aviation technique transfers to birds too.
They all fly.
Post up if you get out again.

Hey Jay nice shots. If you hadn't said AZ I would of thought you were in FL. Drop me a note if you make it to SW FL

Very nice, Jay! Great stuff (especially that last shot); you did a fantastic job of exposing the egrets.

Thanks All...

The lack of comments was making me think I'd committed some unwritten Birding faux pas! :D

Glad to know I got some right! Much respect to those who do this full time!

Very nice shots Jay, but shouldn't you have a full wing rotor effect :-)

Nice "prop blur" on the second one and a great shot of the flaps on the penultimate shot. Next thing we know you'll be shooting motor sports :)

Jay,

I love them all, but somehow the 6th one stands apart. I think it's the ruffled feathers and the shadows they produce. I have returned to view it several times now.

I'm sure YipDog and you compared notes.... did you come to any conclusions on the 1DX vs. the ID Mark IV?
