Couple of photos from 2nd Jan (middle of summer here); waking up to snow on the surrounding hills.

1. 7d + Rokinon 14mm, 4 image panorama

Nice pics....I miss the South Island and mountains so much :)

How do you find the 14mm lens? First time I've seen it - certainly pretty reasonably priced

Thanks. I love the 14mm... I would love to have the TS-E 17 and 24, but unfortunately funds dictate that I must use samyang/rokinon for now.

I have cut the petal hood of the 14mm lens and made a filter holder for it. So that helps me feel like I can cope with it :)

Yeh the 24mm TSE is one on my list of lenses to one day buy.....might give the 14mm rokinon a go. I have the Canon fish eye but hardly use it anymore

These are beautiful photos...I like the reflection in the second one, but the top one IMO would look better with the reflection cropped out. I would crop off the bottom 7/12 of the image, about at the end of the road and leave looking like a pano.
