Hello All,

I came across this thread

Rather than replying to the old thread I thought I'd start a new one, so we could see how people's wish lists had changed the past 18 months.

I regularly fantasize over what I would do if I came into a chunk of money.
Here is my list for (approximately) $10K.

- Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5L II
- Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L II USM
- Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS II USM
- Canon EF 135mm f/2.0 L USM
- Canon EF 300mm f/4 L IS USM
- Canon Extender EF 1.4x III
- Gitzo 2531
- Arca-Swiss Monoball Z1 sp
- Speedlite 600EX-RT
- Canon ST-E3-RT Speedlite Transmitter

It adds up to $10454 with current B&H pricing.

Fantasy and reality are two different things.

Correct, and the first one of those is more fun for most people.

And as we like fun things, fantasies can drive us to make realities.
Without fantasy the world would be a very different place. (for the worse imho)

Sigma 50-500mm OS
Sigma 50-150mm 2.8 II OS
Sigma 17-50mm 2.8 OS
Canon 580 ex II or one of the newer Canon speedlights
MacBook Pro for photo editing.
That's all I want, really!

I'd get all used but in good condition and pocket the rest for upgrading later.

Yeh, sad because if I spent another 10k on camera gear my wife would cut my nuts out while I was asleep!!!
