Since you lot seem to like pussycats, here's an unusual story about one for you.

Yep, i have heard about him. He was used as an example of imprinting behavior in one of college lectures on animal behavior. Very cool!

Is this spot still available? If so, could you let me know costs?

Cheers.

This is a reminder to Paul if he wants to go, to send me a message.
If not there is a space, and next week we have to pay the full amount. For the Bird of Prey visit on 24/3/13. So its last chance.

I think shes probably a mackerel patterned tabby. But tbh sometime she has all the behavioral traits of a Bengal. As we found her near our house abandoned very young and with a leg disability we decided to keep her and nurse her back to health. Shes doing well 1 year on..

Never easy taking in an injured animal

It is a good book, got it for Christmas

That was quick! Glad it all arrived ok.

ps: I didn't do any organizing, just sent the mug. I think Chris does most of the heavy lifting each year :)

Afternoon all,

First time checking into POTN since our trip to Malaysia. Not sure where to start, apart from the fact i've fallen in love with Kuala Lumpur! Best trip ever, and can't wait to share some of the images/videos we shot.

If you follow me on Facebook or Twitter i'm sure you've seen this before, but it's just made its way to 500px/Flickr:

This was the view from our hotel room. If anyone is planning on visiting KL, there is simply nowhere else to stay. To have this view from your room each night is simply incredible (and is rather handy to stare at when your jet lagged :D)

It's on 500PX if anyone fancies giving it some love: http://500px.com/photo/24576503 (external link)

Will try and string a blog post together as it's been an incredible holiday :)

Hope all is well!

Great shot! What about KL made you love it? I've often heard it described as being beautiful, clean, but somewhat sterile. I'm thinking of taking a trip to Hong Kong later this year and maybe adding Singapore and/or KL.

Hard to try and sum it up, but it's fast becoming one of my favourite cities. The architecture is great, and really comes alive at night. Wouldn't describe it as sterile though. Whilst the Petronas Towers look great in the photograph above, to see them yourself is overwhelming.

Everyone is really friendly, and as you've heard it's incredibly clean. Seems like there is almost round the clock cleaners on duty. We stayed near the KLCC/Petronas Towers, which meant there was plenty to do and made the trip what it was. It's also relatively cheap (in terms of Taxi's/Food etc).

If you decide to head out there, drop me an e-mail/PM and I can tell you a little more if your interested :)
