Need some advice guys. I'm going on a 5-day trip to DC with the family.
Currently have 3 8GB cards. Daughter will use 1 of them so I'll be left with 2.
Thinking of getting 2 32GB SanDisk class 10 going for $30 each. Are these good, reliable cards for the 6D?
I took some videos recently on my 8GB cards and the audio is not in-sync with the video. My guess is that my card is not fast enough.

I want enough capacity so I don't have to take a backup device with me.

I am now the proud owner of my first full frame DSLR! My 6D arrived tonight and I have quickly ran through the settings and did a few test shots of things around the house. All I can say is WOW, I am blown away with how nice this camera is. I can't wait to spend some time outside getting some daylight shots. The build quality is great and it is such a huge change from my T2i. I hope to contribute some images here in the near future.

Flash Question

Have the 6d and Speedlite 430 EX II. Am trying to find out if and how I can use that flash off camera by itself. Meaning no flash on the camera to optically trigger the 430 EX II.

Page 175 of the 6D manual shows setting of the "Wireless Functions" but can not find that screen under the "Flash Function Settings" sub-menu. Am I doing something wrong? Am looking to see if the wireless function (radio) will work thus eliminating the need for an on camera trigger flash.

Anybody know if there is a huge difference in quality between the 5D2 and 6D?

I use one. It'll be fine.

The 6D doesn't have a wireless triggering function. You'll need to buy a trigger.

I'm pulling the trigger on the canon 24-70mm f/4L here soon. I think it will be a great walk around lens with the 6d

What makes it a great walk around lens?

I dont know yet. I said I think! but the fact that its a zoom lens, sharp and great IS probably will make it a good walk around lens.

This one was shot handheld at ISO 10000 with the 24-205, wish I had the 70-200 2.8 on the camera when they came out.

The 24-105 also is a zoom lens, also sharp and great IS... and longer reach and above this all a lot cheaper... :)

The only benefit of the 24-70/f4.0 is the macro function IMO?
