Is there a recognized outdoor temp where condensation becomes a potential problem for ones lens? I live in an area where outdoor temps are regularly in the 20's & 30's F and I'm afraid to bring my gear out fearing condensation. My inside temps are always in the 70's.
I've heard of using plastic zip-lock bags but I'm not sure exactly how this works? Does one keep all lens in a zip-lock bag inside and out? Do you keep your camera in a zip-lock bag when outside in freezing temps and after using the camera do you put it back inside the bag?
Once you're back inside when can you take your gear out of the bags?
Sorry for all the questions but I'd really like to feel comfortable using my canon 5d mkiii & lens outdoors without the fear of ruining the equipment.
