I went out to the Woodbridge Ecological Reserve a couple of weeks ago to shot some of the winter migrants. Got there before sunrise, but was greeted by fog, so had to move down the road about a mile to find a clear area.

Here are a few of the Sandhill cranes that I found there.

I used the 60D with 300 f2.8LIS w/2x and my new 4Ti with 400 f5.6L.

Thanks ducklabdad, Ian, SJC, Rog, Grizz1, lugnut45, and Gary from yesterday,
also Atul, Terry, and Alan this morning. I was too sick to responded yesterday
evening (maybe cause the Niner's lost, or cause this cold is just not going away).

Glad you all enjoyed the set, makes it worth will going out in the 28 degree morning
to get the shots, not that's very cold to people outside of California...
