This was my first time shooting wrestling with my newly acquired 1DMKIII. Washington is a 5 year old school with fairly nice lighting in the gym. For this meet, they decided to turn off all the lights except for two directly over the mat - (forehead slap). So, I shot these with the 70-200 2.8 at 6400 iso. I'm fairly satisfied with how the pics turned out, but figured some would probably look better in b&w. Washington won the meet 39-34 with a pin in the last match @ 126lbs. Good stuff.

Nice work under less than ideal conditions. That MkIII is working well at 6400.

Thanks Bob. Yeah, I'm really impressed with the MKIII so far.
