This came from my 10D. I used upgrade about 3 months ago and while I love the new 60D, I miss the 10D sometimes. It was a tank and in fact went to a young photog near me as a starter camera.

Loved my 10D - my first dSLR. Had it 2004 to 2007. It never put a foot wrong - though I used some well-dodgy lenses on it... for which I am truly sorry.

Dug out some photos taken with it to post on this thread.

This shot of Loch Awe was taken with a dreadful 28-300mm Sigma...

IMAGE: http://www.capnfishy.co.uk/images/My%20views/Scotland/1645.jpg

This shot of the Forth Road Bridge was taken with the Sigma 10-20mm that supposedly was for EF-S mount enabled cameras, but worked fine on the 10D.

IMAGE: http://www.capnfishy.co.uk/images/My%20views/Scotland/1885.jpg

This shot of the Chinese Bridge on the River Tay at Kenmore was taken with the EF 28-135 mm IS, which I liked a lot...

IMAGE: http://www.capnfishy.co.uk/images/Fisheries/Misc/8047.jpg

Again with the 28-135 IS, the Scottish Parliament buildings and the Palace of Holyrood House...

IMAGE: http://www.capnfishy.co.uk/images/My%20views/Scotland/0214.jpg

...and Cockenzie Power Station...

IMAGE: http://www.capnfishy.co.uk/images/My%20views/Scotland/8129.jpg

...Princes St Gardens...

IMAGE: http://www.capnfishy.co.uk/images/My%20views/Scotland/Princes-St-Ferris-Wheel.jpg

River Tummel...

IMAGE: http://www.capnfishy.co.uk/images/2009_misc_photos/8483.jpg

Trossachs loch, taken with the 17-40mm.

IMAGE: http://www.capnfishy.co.uk/images/Fisheries/Trossachs/Mar-067551.jpg

All hend-held.

Col

These are small, but the ones out there are far away.

I still use a 10D. It was sold to me for 40$ ... just needed a new shutter. I guesstimate it has well north of 200k actuations, has been dropped more times than I can count. And I still enjoy it.

Actually, no. I still use mine for closeup work. Mainly rare and collectible knives.

And here's a WW II Navy Pilots Survival knife. The bigger one. I included my old Schrade LB7 for size reference. ;)

i miss my 10d dearly! I used it for the last 2 years and would still be using it, but I missed full frame and went to the 5d. I'm used to shooting film with my old minolta, I like that perspective personally. The majority of my rig shots were done with my 10d! That little sensor still packs a punch!
